CONCEPT NOTE
Economics, as an art of
scientific inquiry, has led to a triumphant journey so far in undoing some of
the greatest problems of the century. Serving as the connecting link between
the fair sciences, economics furthers man’s pursuit of knowledge in
understanding what guides and nurtures the development, growth, and wellbeing
of those that are most affected by it. The need for a comprehensive and
holistic understanding has led to the creation of intricate, unique, little
pieces that when put together serves its grand purpose. This year we combine
perspectives from psychology, sociology and other sister sciences to supplement
our case for the heterodoxical understanding of the world and its foundations
in Economics. Through the theme we explore the "Transforming Economic
Perspectives". We are not remembered for who we are as economists but for
what we do and the legacy we leave behind as builders of a sustainable,
transformative human experience.
